Wellness Support Group July 13th

Nancy Miller, Founder and CEO of the Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation, will be speaking at our next support group on

July 13, 2017 from 6-8PM

Following the loss of her 17 month old son, Cade, to a brain stem tumor in 2000, Nancy established the first support group specifically for brain tumor patients in the state of Oklahoma. Since that time, she has served on several state and national committees where she has advocated for cancer patients and their families.

Apps For Awareness at the Sheraton

Please join us and help spread the word for this special event!! The Aria Lounge, located inside of the downtown Oklahoma City Sheraton, is hosting weekly Awareness Nights called “Apps for Awareness”. On March 16th, they are going to be hosting Brain Health Awareness!

They have a designated Special’s Menu that night that runs from 2:00PM-2:00AM. 75% of the proceeds from that menu will be donated to the Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation.

Samantha Hussey, RD, is a Registered Dietitian, a “Certified Specialists in Oncology Nutrition, and also a “Certified Nutrition Support Clinician” by the American Society of Parental and Enteral Nutrition. She has been a part of the Stephenson Cancer Team since September 2014.

Mackenzie Frederick, DTR is certified as a Dietary Technician and has been a part of the Stephenson Cancer Team since July of 2016. She focused on sports nutrition and wellness while obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at Baylor University.
